The saga of the missing hip hop
I consider myself i pretty well rounded person, from eating sushi to listening to indie rock, i just try to keep an open mind. Hip hop is still my #1 love though, keyword hip hop, not rap for all who dont know the difference. Now ive been all over the country and met alot of people but living in Kansas City seems to be like living in a false reality. I have my intricate click of hip hop heads that can pow wow with me, but it seems like we are a dime a dozen. Stunna shades and ice just never really appealed to me and my amigos but why does everyone here think that rap is all material? Talking to a chick today, i told her i played guitar and she said "You dont rap?" trick no i dont rap! its almost sad, this state of mind that black people have created for themselves causing everyone else to think that our entire race consists of the same type of people. I jus want to clear the air for any white, black, asian, latin, or any other race that thinks all afro americans should rock ice and bape stas, im throwin my fist in the air for all the hip hop heads out there who care more about there dope headphones and music blog than trappin in the streets. 1 up for hip hop

man good lookin jo. you hit the nail on the head. good hip hop is hard to find now and days. but as long as i have my dope headphones i'll be alright :-)
Good hip hop makes niggas think and thinking is just something that niggas refuse to do so they listen to niggas like Soulja Boy, Fat Tone (REST IN PEACE MAH NIGGUAH)and Plies to provide a simple metaphor free message; "GET MONEY AND FUCK BITCHES MAH NIGGA" Oh well.. i'll pick blogging and my awesome skullcandy headphones bumping smashing pumpkins over Soulja Boy's "music" any day.
